I started going to Water Brook Dental's 14th St office. The dentist was very personable and they were very accommodating setting up appointments to fit my schedule. The filling I received shattered the day I got it leading to an infection. I came in for 4 weeks complaining of severe pain and fever. The dentist re-did the filling three times, but never completed a new exam. I made an emergency appointment one Monday because I was in an extreme amount of pain. I forgot my phone at home when I left for work and went to the appointment as scheduled. The dentist spent two minutes with me, informed me that there was nothing wrong with me and then told me he would not see me again. When I got home I had two voicemails from the dentist office claiming he was out sick that day and wouldn't be able to see me. I found that odd considering he had an office full of patients when I had gotten there that day. I had an emergency root canal the next day because I had an abscess the size of a quarter in my mouth. It took three root canals to fix the infection because it had gotten so bad. Now the dentist refuses to release my medical records even though the bill has been paid. Not only is it illegal to not release medical records, but it is against the ADA code of Ethics for dentist.
