Demandforce announces hiring of Dr. Mark Hale as CTO
Platform launched in 115 practices to drive revenue and measure patient satisfaction
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – July 1, 2007 – Demandforce, Inc., a web-based customer communication software company, today announced the hiring of renowned Internet architect Dr. Mark Hale, PhD as its Chief Technology Officer.
Hale will be responsible for product management and technical innovation at the startup. He will lead local and overseas engineering development, certification and deployment of the Demandforce software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. The software helps companies improve communication and increase demand for services using patent-pending two-way e-mail and text-messaging platform.

Hale recently served as Vice President of Worldwide Field Marketing at Interwoven, Inc., the San Jose-based enterprise software company. As part of the executive management team, he was responsible for the field rollout of six product lines internationally. Hale also has served on working groups with the World Wide Web Consortium, Java Community Process and other organizations that specialize in Internet standards. For this work he is well cited in the international community for technologies forming the foundation for Web 2.0. He holds Ph.D. and Masters Degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which were funded by the NASA High Performance Computing and Communications Program.
