Demandforce launches beta in dental, auto verticals

Software helps auto shops, dental practices improve customer communication and increase demand for services

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. June 7, 2004 – Demandforce, Inc., a web-based customer communication software company, today announced a beta launch to the dental and automotive industries. Demandforce will bridge the technology gap in these traditionally underserved industries through the application of leading-edge, user-friendly technology that will enhance customer communication and increase demand for products and services.

"If you think about service-based industries, such as automotive repair shops and dental practices, they don't have the internal resources to proactively generate demand for their services. We are here to serve as their demand generation team, which is why our name is Demandforce," said Rick Berry, president of Demandforce. "There is over $60 billion in unperformed maintenance on cars in the United States and more than 51% of people are past due for a dental visit. By making it easy and convenient for the consumer to interact with the business, we can efficiently and effectively help our clients do more business."

Demandforce's beta release provides functionality that includes:

  • Communications: Integrates seamlessly with the management system used to run the business, Demandforce sends targeted email and text-message communications to help businesses reactivate lost customers, retain existing customers, reduce no-shows, generate customer surveys and measure customer satisfaction, as well as send custom newsletters and promotions.
  • Surveys: Each evening, Demandforce sends a "Thank You" message to everyone that visited the business on that day. Within the email is a link for the customer to "Provide Feedback." Individuals can then answer up to 10 questions on their experience with the business. The results of these surveys are available to the business user in their Demandforce account.
  • Reporting and Analytics:The integration with the management system gives Demandforce the ability to track the returns from communications sent to customers. Statistics are available in real time using the dashboard feature, which displays revenue generation, patient satisfaction, no-show and re-activation rates, without running reports. Businesses can quantify the revenue generated directly as a result of using the Demandforce system and can easily measure their return on investment.
  • Value Guarantee: Demandforce guarantees to generate $3 in value for every $1 invested each month or the next month is free.
  • Web-Based Access from Anywhere:Demandforce is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application, which means business users can log into their Demandforce portal from any location where they have internet access.
