I really appreciated the honesty about the condition of my eyes and the lack of needing a prescrption. However, I was persuaded to purchase a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses, with the strongest selling point being that they have a lifetime warranty. When I registered my purchase with the company online, they only claimed a 2 year warranty. I will be returning the sunglasses, unless he (the optometrist) plans to personally offer a lifetime warranty.
I have been seeing Dr. Esplin for 4 or 5 years now. I think that he is a wonderful doctor! I find that he is very personable and easy to work with. He seems to know me as a person, not just a patient. He is very understanding of my situation in terms of insurance and out of pocket expenses. He doesn't try to push me into buying products that I can't afford or don't need. I would highly recommend Dr. Esplin to my friends and family.
