Engine work was done on my vehicle. Manifold and other gaskets were replaced on my 13 year-old pickup truck. I am pleased with the result. The gas milage has improved 3-4 MPG. There is an increase of 60 miles more driven per 15 gallon tank of gas. Over 100k miles driven I gain 23,520 miles which is = to 92.24 tanks of gas. Assumming a static price of $3.85 per gallon or $57.75 per tank of gas, I will save $5,326.86 over 100,000 miles. Therefore, the manifold gasket replacement gives me a projected ROI of $4,586, a substantial ROI at today's gasoline prices. However my ROI will increase as gasoline prices increase. Therefore this gasket replacement work meets the investment criteria.

Highly Recommended! Family owned business with very friendly and helpful staff. They are HONEST - Village checked and told me I did not need brakes yet for awhile when another shop said I needed brakes right away! I will only bring my family's cars to Village Transmission.
