Let me start off by saying the two staff members I met were both nice and professional. The ambiance in the office is pleasant. Six stars there!
I bought a series of hair laser treatments discounted online. During my first treatment, I was told I might opt to come in early for my next session and apply some free numbing cream. The laser hair removal process gets increasingly more intense (painful) with each session.
At my second appointment I was told that the numbing cream was now $5. I paid the $5 but I am always wary that a company is hurting financially when they nickle and dime their customers.
On the eve of an appointment in the middle of my series, I got a call from Rene that Dr. Olson had sold the laser hair removal machine.
Rather than using the balance I paid on other services, I opted to have my money returned and was told to expect a check in a couple of weeks. Two months later, I hadn't received the money so I called. During business hours, the answering machine picked up and said they'd be closed for Thanksgiving. (This was March.) I left a message, but I assumed they had gone out of business and I would never see my money again.
To my delight, I receieved a check for the balance a few weeks after this call. I deposited it 6 days ago and so far as I know, the check is good.
