My visit was very unpleasant and I have been enjoying wonderful visits at Raintree in the past. The young girl who did my hair first of all double booked appointments so while i was processing my hair color she did a whole different color appointment. I had planned on giving the young lady a very large tip for her personal attention. She never even came over to check to see if my hair was processing the color properly because she was working on another client. So finally person working the front desk had to get someone to shampoo my hair. Since that person did not know that i specifically requested that my hair had no red in the coloring she did not realize that my hair had not processed the light brown color we had picked out. Also the young girl tried to cut my very curly hair while it was wet but still in tight ringlets. I had her stop cutting my hair after she pulled down two different tendrils of hair and snipped the ends without combing out my curls. I said nothing due to trying not to be rude. She then blew my hair out and it was defintiely lots lighter and with lots of orange tones in it. When i asked to see the color swatch we had pciked out she refused to let me see it. I asked four times so that i could compare what i picked out to what it turned out to be. She never let me see it. But explained she could do my hair over another day. I hand been there three hours. I dont know many women who work full time that have many evenings free to have there hair done completely over 3 hrs is a large part of any evening. I had told martha from the very beginning that i had fine, curly hair but lots of it and that she would have to color my hair carefully so as to not have it pull red undertones. I could have even handled her inexperience but the double booking was what really disappointed me the most.
