Not great, quite disappointed. Staff were their usual friendly selves... I love going there. Been a customer for 5 years. Maybe I've been spoiled by the excellent service I get from Jill (who was booked up solid), but this esthetician who gave me a pedicure was unfriendly, distant and acted like I was an intrusion in her day. I never met her before. Sure did not appear to love or even like her job. I go to Headshoppe for the experience and to be pampered. A cup of coffee would have been nice but she didn't go out of her way to do anything special. My feet were in good shape so aside from painting the nails, there was little scrubbing for her to do. I hoped perhaps she would do a longer massage or a mask to compensate but she did not. Pedicures aren't cheap and really all I got was a foot wash and polish. Feeling quite awkward because of the silence in the room, i just layed back, closed my eyes and did anything but relax. Upon completion, She didn't put my flipflops on for me nor even offer to help guide them on so of course I hit my toe and smudged the polish. She was noticeably annoyed, glanced at it and said maybe I touched the top coat and dabbed a bit on. Maybe I should have come in the next day to show her the polish on my foot. I would still recommend Headshoppe in a heartbeat, just not this esthetician. Next time, and there will be a next time because this is not the norm, I will know enough to pre-book with Jill, who is the best in the universe.
