We are an award-winning salon located on Sawtelle Boulevard. in Los Angeles, where there are many Japanese restaurants, stores, and markets, located next to the beautiful city of Santa Monica. We use the best Japanese products as well as the best American and European products. The stylistsl use Tokyo style techniques and are very detail-oriented. Many of us came all the way from Japan to share our techniques and knowledge to make you beautiful. We are hardworking and loving people. We really believe we have a lot to offer you. Ken makes great suggestions to keep my style current but without having to spend a lot of time on my hair in the morning. I always leave with a cut that brings me compliments & I always say, "Go to Ken at Taka Hair!"

My haircut was perfect! Every single time I had a short haircut, the hair stylists never knew what to do because my hair was so thick. But Kumiko cut my hair perfectly! :D

I just had my hair done on last Monday. Here's my review. I'm sorry to say this, but I won't come back to you ever again. The stylist who took care of me was an old man. I told him that I'd like to keep same kind of style. I don't think he underdtood what I meant. My hair now looks very funny, like " Kokeshi doll with curly hair" I'd have to tie my hair for a couple of months till I go back to my stylist to fix that. I was asked $170 for this terrible hair style and I'd definitely say it was a huge waste of my money. I wish I could get a refund.

Great first time experience. The customer service was excellent and my hairdresser was very thorough but also considerate. She communicated with me to make sure I got what I wanted, and gave me one of the best washes I've ever gotten at a hair salon.
