I am very picky about where I take my animals. I came to SDAC on 2 referrals as I am not from this area. The initial phone conversation about boarding my dog was friendly, but a bit deceiving. I didn't know I would have to pay for his bath. I come from a vet hospital where it was complimentary since we boarded so long. When I was concerned about being late to pick up my animal (out of my control), the person on the phone was basically saying that it would not be possible to wait 5 minutes for me to get there. Where I come from, it not only is not an issue, but a pleasure to provide excellent customer service, even if the staff has to stay an extra 10 minutes.
When I got there, everyone was friendly, however, that for which I was grateful. I am considering going back but will continue to do research about other facilities first.
