The hygienist was great, but they were misleading when it came to the amounts the insurance company would pay. (I guess they didn't realize a quick phone call to the insurance company would reveal their deception). When I finally spoke with the dentist she said every imaginable thing to deflect the responsibility from her office.
Quite possibly, we could have made an arrangement as I realized going to a non-network dentist costs more than going to an in-network dentist. But, her attitude toward accepting responsibility and correcting behavior kept us from doing business.
With all of this said, the hygienist was great, and I don't doubt her abilities. I agreed with her diagnosis and treatment plan (which has been a departure from the other dentists I have seen around here). Quite possibly she is a great dentist who needs to improve her communication skills.
