Michelle was wonderful! She really listened to what I was asking for and needed, she tackled the problem areas with great pressure and technique, and I left feeling so much better. Thank you! I will be back in a month to keep my back in great shape =) I've recommended this place to a friend, and she will be calling soon to set up an appointment. It's so nice to find a place with great technique but not super expensive prices. I like that you run specials, it makes it possible for me to come more regularly!

I really enjoyed my experience at Shea Essence. It has been a few years since I went to your spa and it was nice to be back. I look forward to coming back. If I had to be super critical of the pedicure, I would say the lady didn't rinse off the scrub from my legs very well. I had to ask her to get it all off and she used a towel instead of water so it really didn't all come off. I like to have the scrub and then lotion applied with a massage and since I had the spa pedicure I thought that was included. Overall though, she did a great job and I love how she really paid attention to cleaning.

I loved my Shea Essence facial with Dorsha (sp?). She did a great job with the facial and neck massage. I love the products your spa uses. I've just started using the products myself.

The experience was amazing. This is one of the most relaxing spa atmosphere I have ever had. It started with a 30 minute massage, which set the tone for my mani and pedi. The oils and creams used were very soothing.

In the past I have gone and received prompt and good service. This last visit not so much :(

I went in yesterday for a couples massage and we were left waiting for someone to help us. Our files were not ready or out when we got there even though we had an appointment. We were asked to fill out new paperwork because she couldn't find ours. Also while we waited and filled out paperwork the receptionist was talking to one of the therapists about their tips/money which I found to be completely unprofessional. Also when I got there I told the receptionist I had an email coupon for 20 dollars off a $70 visit and didn't say anything about me not being able to use it until we were checking out. I have been to Shea Essence several times and I felt the service this time was the worst. In the past I have recommended Shea to friends but I think after this last visit I would not recommend it.

I have been a LOYAL client at Shea Essence since 2010. I am extremely leary about the new management. Heather the new manager has her family there hanging out in the lobby during business hours, I believe her teenage daughter works the register and a teenage male is there most times walking around barefoot (Unprofessional) and noticed. New spa chairs and carpet have been added but it has become more of a typical low budget chop shop nail shop verses a true spa feel. I feel rushed now, my nails look like "shhhh" and my OPI polish always bubbles because of it. IF I WANT TO GO AND HAVE A NAIL CHOP SHOP EXPERIENCE I WOULD AND PAY 19.99. I pay too much at Shea Essence for the crap that has been going on lately. I believe that you should get what you pay for. Shea Essence used to be a place that I felt was a hidden treasure in Sugarland. Now with all of the changes to SQUEEZE more room into this place just to mass produce appointments like everywhere eIse is annoying...It is turning into a "Nail Shop" that is on every corner.... HUGE mistake!!!! Heather you will loose more and more loyal customers behind rushing them through. I was always taught that LESS is MORE!!! I miss Lisa and Lynn dearly, they handled business, did not over book and knew how to make you feel special as a client...For instance, before the changes, I was given a very cute chocolate bag to place my shoes in after my pedicures, now I have been receiving a Viet Hoa plastic grocery bag...WTH? Again, I pay too much at Shea Essence to be treated like I paid 20.00 for services. I am at the point that I am only still there until I find somewhere else to go. By the way, my entire family comes here, as well as co-workers and friends for services on a regular basis and 95% of them are on the hunt for a different spa. On a positive note, Dorsha and Sheryl give some of the best doggon massages in the world....you will not be disappointed with either of them.
