The mechanic did a great job. The problem I had was all of the pressure I felt from the gentleman at the front desk. He was really pushy and sales like. Where is the customer service? I work in the customer service industry and we do all that we can to make a customer feel good about their experience and if there is a sense of dissatisfaction i do all that I can to help that customer. This was not the case here. I felt like I was being pushed to fix problems that were luxuries and not needs which I had expressed. Then I was quoted a price for a part that changed all of a sudden and I had no option but to pay an exorbitant fee for such a small problem. I will not be back ever. If he would have walked me through the process or even took 2 seconds to show some kind of empathy this whole experience would feel a lot different. It is bad enough that with the economy the way it is car troubles are the last thing we want let alone having to feel bullied and sold on unnecessary problems.
Im sorry you had a less than desireable experience here at Robs. We do try to go out of our way to help our customers with their needs. If you are willing to give us another try we will be happy to help you resolve this issue and the one with your drivers window as well.Please feel free to call when you can and allow us to make it right.We are human and do make mistakes,yet we will go out of our way to make it right for you.I would also like to add that we did not make any repairs to your power steering hose until you authorized us too.As you acknowledged the cost of repairing your power steering hose was still 400.00 less than the dealer and the dealers part was 7-8 weeks away,by repairing this now it saved you the down time,and rental car time as well as the inconvience of having to come back. But again we want all of our customers to feel happy and we will always go over the bill completely for you at the time of pick up. Thank you again. MGT

It was alright.
Hi Jon,
You are a very good customer and we appreciate your business. From what I understand you had an engine oil leak at the engine side cover plate. The ASE master technician that worked on the vehicle says he pulled the side plate cleaned and inspected it and the block. He cleaned and inspected the reusable gasket and found no problems with it, he put some sealer on the gasket it and put it back together. He let it run for a while and then test drove it and rechecked it with a mirror for leaks because its hard to see all the way around the plate and he did not see any leaks. Evidently within a short period of time of you getting the vehicle back from us it started leaking again and you had to bring the vehicle back to us. After inspection the side cover was obviously leaking again and we pulled the side cover and inspected the cover, engine block and gasket and did not see any apparent reason for it to leak. We went ahead and replaced the gasket and tested for leaks again. We test drove it several times and found no leaks. After discussing it we are all thinking the rubber material on the gasket had become hard from the engine heat and was not making a proper seal. We are sorry you had to bring your vehicle back to have something repaired that we had already supposedly fixed we know that can be very frustrating and we try to do our best to make sure that doesn't happen but it unfortunately it does once in a while.
