I really wanted to like this salon, the location is so convenient. The haircut was absolutely decent, not terrible, not perfect, but the stylist was nice and the people were all very friendly and offered water, tea, the usual nice things. The cut took almost two hours because the stylist kept stopping to talk to people. The nail treatment I had was horrible, the girl said it was her first job out of beauty school. she took a really long time (almost another 2 hours) to paint my nails because she was distracted by text messages and talking to the other manicurist. My nails looked terrible when she was done, and even the filing was uneven. At the end of it, I went home and took off the nail polish she had put on. The girl next to her appeared to be an extremely professional and appropriate manicurist and her clients seemed incredibly satisfied. So maybe it was just a fluke. Other people seemed really happy there and I did really enjoy the sense of community they had going (where everyone knew each others' names). I just don't have time to spend >4 hours there for a haircut and manicure/pedicure.
