wonderful time spent having a 24k collagen facial and tibetian foot steam. my complexion looks beautiful after Ophelia's facial. I loved the foot steam and wish I could go back weekly for one. It helped my circulation and got the toxins out of my body. You do not think it works while you are steaming but wait until later. Will come back next time I am in town for more!!!! Staff is knowledgeable and accommodating!
Qi Spa replied:
Thank you very much. If you come weekly, we can offer you a package that amount to 50% Off on Tibetan foot sauna.

At the beginning I booked on line but I didn't get the confirmation, it seems there are no booking on line. I suggest to let the customers know that there are no booking on line.

From the freezing cold room to the nail technician who knew nothing about proper nail care I must say that it was definitely a waste of money. I didn't receive all of the services I paid for & the owner had the audacity to charge extra for a tip...smh...I would never refer anyone to this whole in the wall spa.
Qi Spa replied:
It was very clear that one treatment was rescheduled due to the client need to catch the bus back to Upper Marlboro, MD by 9pm. Her service was prepaid by her companion who got a very good massage from our best therapist with 10 years experience. She left without paying for his massage so we charged to the card given for reservation. A 10% tip was added to the card because he said that he will tip. She said that she does not want to add the tip to the card. She will give cash when she comes back. He also said that he will give her money to tip when she comes back.
As far as the room, the temperature was set at 73 degrees. We raised the temperature upon request. The nail technician did decent job. Due to the time pressure, the nails were not completely dry before the client had to leave so it was messed up after she left. When he called, we promised that we will change the polish when she comes back in a week for the rescheduled service.
We have served guests from all over the world and all walks of life in four years. This is the first time we are being called a whole in the wall spa after our recent update to our facility and received compliments from many long time clients of status.
We welcome customer feedback and will continue improve our skills and customer service. We hope that constructive dialogue will benefit both our guests and spa.

I have been coming to your spa as a regular and receiving deep tissue massages from Young for a few months. When I arrived last Friday, there was a young man working at the desk, very close cut hair, who was not very welcoming and did not seem to understand what was going on. During this time, Young was running upstairs and down because all of the rooms were occupied. The young man's attitude at the desk was one of not seeming to care. I arrived 5 minutes before my appointmnet and 20 minutes later a small room was made available. During this time of uncertainty the manager returned to the spa to learn of the situation. I have always encountered professionalism from the staff at Qi Spa. However, that was not the case on Friday, Jan. 27. Frankly, I did not enjoy my massage that much. The manager did deduct $20 from my bill due to the wait. However, the only ones who seemed bothered by the whole situation were Young and myself.

I thoroughly appreciated the Chinese foot massage I got at Qi Spa. A regular massage doesn't usually dwell much on the feet, which are a particular concern to me. But this massage was firm and felt great, without ever having any concern about injury. I would recommend it highly.

Great foot massage.
Cramped quarters; overbooked.
Staff seemed to be arguing and unfriendly to each other.
Qi Spa replied:
We really appreciated your feedback. We have new staff and in process of improving customer service. We will also re-design our space to provide better spa experience.
We will certainly do better next time.

I have finally found the perfect massage therapist after a long search and many massages.
I learned about Qi Spa from Groupon and fortunately I was assigned to Young. Her massages have helped relax tightened muscles and have made me feel healthier.
Thank you Young!

She is an excellent massage therapist. For the few weeks I have been getting her deep tissue massages, the tension I have experienced has eased.

Everyone I talked to was very professional and welcoming. The gold facial was very relaxing and the facility was comfortable and clean. The location is right in the middle of the Georgetown shops and a great place to take a break from the shopping with a massage or facial.
Qi Spa replied:
Thank you! And please come again.

I purchased the groupon for the sauna treatment and pedicure. I called to make my appt and spoke to Ophelia, the owner. She made my appt fully knowing she was double booking herself. I was left alone in a cold room facing the street so my "relaxing" sauna time was full of noises from traffic, there was a cd player in the room but no one turned it on for me. I was also super uncomfortable as you are seated on a stool with no back or even pillow to lean against. The sauna part was supposed to be 45 min, but I was left in that discomfort for an additional45min bc the owner double booked me. On my way out I was asked if I could wait another 30 min for her. Not expecting to spend 3hours on a pedicure I left...and of course since my parking meter expired I had to pay a ticket to boot. Horrible atmosphere, terrible customer service ...
Qi Spa replied:
She was not double booked at all. In fact, she did not even finish the first 45 minute of foot sauna before she left and mad. We have not sold sauna treatment and pedicure on groupon. Somehow, she thought that she was getting sauna plus pedicure. Actually, she only purchased foot sauna which was not double booked at all. However, I did issue a strict order not put anyone getting foot sauna in a room on a chair ever again.
We like to welcome her back to get a free Tibetan foot sauna plus a half price foot massage to make her happy.
