You had an issue with your car and you asked us to look at it. We spent an hour running diagnostics and trying to verify your issue. Nobody "rippped" you off as your problem was not there. We spent our time trying to find your problem. Running computer scans, looking at actual computer values and trying to duplicate problem. Unfortunately, your problem was not present and we could not verify the problem. W asked you that you drop off the car for the day to try to get problem to happen and you refused so we could further investigate. We charged you a minimal diagnostic fee of $45.00 for over an hour of our time spent. This is normal industry practice. In all honesty, why would we work for free?? Also, why do you think our time is not valuable as well, or the equipment we use to try to repair your vehicle?? We try to be as fair and honest as we can be, but we certainly did not 'RIP" you off. Had we charged you our rate of $90.00 per hour and 1.5 hrs we spent on the car, well then maybe you could say that. That should have been a charge of $135.00 not $45.00. The $45.00 honestly covers my employee expense and nothing more. Keeping that in mind, the average technician makes over $20.00 per hour these days and at just $20.00 an hour and 1.5 hours spent that would be an expense of $30.00 not including any additional overhead. This response is to further educate and not criticise your remarks. We're sorry we couldn't help you we did the best we could to accomodate you.

There are discrepancies here but first we were asked to rotate your Tires on first service. We rotated them as you requested. You later brought your car back saying it shakes at hi speeds. We rechecked the whole vehicle, performed a road force check on all tires and finding the tires were bad, even though they balanced fine. We charged you a diagnostic fee here for our time and recommended 4 tires.We also recommended an alignment with the purchase of 4 tires. After al was done, the vehicle was much better but it was also told that you have internal issues inside your steering box hence giving you the shake at hi speeds.
As far as the window go, We diagnosed it and installed the window motor you supplied. The window worked but as we did not supply the part that failed we cant be responsible if stopped working after a week. The motor was told to you that it was week after installation, but we had no way of knowing until installation. We spent numerous hours trying to make this better and only charged you a fair installation time.
We wish things were 100% but making the car 100& would have required for you to spend more money that you already did not want to spend.
