Had a new hygienist Eliae. She was good clinically, but her bedside manner for someone who does not like the dentist was less than heart warming. After telling me I need to floss more, she did not floss my teeth after polishing or give me a new toothbrush and floss. It may be that she was in a rush to be home or had a bad day, so I'll chalk it up to that. I just think she was rather all business, and it was my first time meeting her.

Dr. Schneider is the most competent dentist I have ever met! He explains his procedures, in laymens' terms, before he begins, has state of the art equipment, a friendly and courteous staff, and offers different forms of sedation (for patients like me).

He has great "bedside manners" and puts you at ease; making the visit less stressful.

Walked in expecting a zero cost cleaning and left with a $111.00 debit to my checking. I know it wasn't your fault, but Deltas, but there was plenty of time to call and let me know. I get paid every other week and am on a tight budget. Would have appreciated some caring customer service. Wasn't happy learning I couldn't get my cleaning that day without spending $111.00. Think about it. Not referring at this time.

Pam, I'm sorry that your appointment didn't go as planned. Unfortunately, Delta Dental has changed their policy, and are no longer covering "Periodontal Maintenance" cleaning appointments like they previously were. When you came in for your appointment, Elise charted your "perio numbers" to determine whether or not you needed Scaling and Root Planing, "a deep cleaning". There was no way for us to know whether you needed a deep cleaning until you came in & your numbers were charted. Elise mentioned that you would need a deep cleaning and you stated that you wanted to do the left side that day. We absolutely could have scheduled the appointment for another time. I apologize for the confusion. Give me a call at the office if you have any questions about the new Delta Dental policies. -Jessica
