I brought my 99 GMC Suburban in for a running condition and the "check engine" light on. I knew of one condition which existed that was causing a difficult starting problem. After the obvious problem was repaired there arose another more perplexing issue not related to what it came in for but was a direct cause of the event. I appreciate a shop which does not "band aid" the symptom but finds the cause and repairs it. Kudo's to the technician and his ability to trace a complex circut beyond looking for the obvious. The bill was expensive but being in the mechanic repair business (boats) I know how long and how difficult some electrical repairs can take. I would recommend Pacific car care and the way I was treated. I was never left in the dark by the service advisor (Mike) and he made sure I knew of where we stood financially throughout the whole ordeal. Thank you to my friend Ken who also went the extra mile to re program my ECM to the parameters of which it should run in.
