I came in today (2/28) because I was having eye pain. I was worked in last minute at 3:30 on a Friday, which surprised me because most doctor offices that I know of are closed at 12:30 on Fridays. The person who answers the phone, who usually works in the eye glass sales part of the office was so nice to me on the phone and worked me in. The technician who took me to my room really impressed me. I cannot remember her name, but she was a very pleasant woman who wore glasses and was middle aged and was wearing a pink scrub top. She could tell I was in pain in the waiting room and addressed me by asking me to rate my pain, then gave me black glasses to wear. She then took me to a room quickly and offered me a cold compress and told me that if I were her daughter, she'd want someone to take care of me to. I really like that she created a family atmosphere as well as superior customer service. The doctor who saw me was the Dad and he was very patient with how nervous I was and reassured me. He made me feel a lot better and got what was stuck in my eye. I was extremely happy after leaving today. I am going to be graduating college in a couple of months and plan on moving to a more urban area , but as I was leaving the parking lot..I thought that places like Moore Eye Center make me want to stay in a small town like Lexington. I have also met with the daughter and law and the son and I perceived them both to be friendly and knowledgable. I am a person who is usually unhappy with businesses because of poor customer service, but I cannot say that any of my experiences at Moore Eye Center, including when I bought my glasses there have been any less than superior!
