I had to ake my car to a Midas dealer in Orlando, Florida because my car was shimmying so bad after getting the tires rotated before gong on vacation

Midas Durham replied:

We rotated the tires with A basic oil change. Wich does not come with a balance. We do not test drive vehicles after A basic oil change. We would have gladly balanced the tires upon customer's request.

Made an appointment request on line. Received a response within the hour with a scheduled time. Took my little red car to Midas. Got the oil changed. About twenty dollars less than I paid last time at another shop. Technician alerted me to a mechanical problem with my car and gave me an estimate. No pressure. Thank you.

Don't go there for anything but an oil change, and even that is a stretch. They will try to sell you services that you don't need. Overall I have been unhappy with the way they treat you as if you're an idiot. I'm sure they deal with people that know nothing about cars, but I am not one of those people I just happen to live in an apartment, where I have no tools. Overall I wouldn't recommend going here.

Midas did a good, quick oil change when I needed one in a hurry BUT they said an inspection to find the cause of my check engine light would cost almost $70. I may yet have to pay that much, but now I want to find another place--& that company might get the 3 tires plus alignment which Midas had already priced out for me as something I'd get in the near future. Penny wise, pound foolish...

I am a patient of Dr. Ellis List, DDS. I moved from another state to the Durham, NC area about five years ago. I did not have a dentist so I returned to my home state on a couple occasions to have dental services. Eventually, an acquaintance recommended Dr. List and I made an appointment to see him. The appointment is where I will begin the review of Dr. List's professional services. The telephone was immediately answered and my initial appointment was made by a courteous and professional office staffer. When I came to the office for the first visit I was welcomed, registered and directed to the hygeniest who inspected, cleaned, x-rayed and recorded her findings. After reporting her findings to Dr. List he examined me and gave me his plan of treatment. My subsequent visits gave me more confidence in and noticeable benefits from his expertise. I am his patient.
