Had an hour wait time, the receptionist called 2 times before my appt. for insurance information and sent 3 emails confirming the appt.; however at no point told me the visit would be $115 with no contacts until it was all said and done. I was not prepared to pay this but I did. More focus should be set on making customers aware if this information before, what would have happened I didn't have it to pay? Love love love the doctor, always did but will not return. Not pleased with the rest.

Thank you for your feedback about your visit. At the time of your visit we were behind due to an ocular emergency that required emergency surgery. As far as your charges, we apologize for the misunderstanding. We have NOT increased our contact lens fitting and exam charges in five years. At the same time most other overhead expenses have increased. We are very proud of the fact we have been able to keep expenses to our patients the same. After reviewing your file, it isn't our charges that have changed it is a change in the coverage of insurance you had. When we agree to be a provider on an insurance panel we agree to abide by what that company tells us to collect. Should you have issue with that we invite you to take this up with your insurance company. We do thank you for your feedback and are sorry for the misunderstanding. We will take action to try and prevent it from happening in the future.
