Your dental work is great but I need more support for insurance claims. I would like it if you would submit claims to my insurer and provide a subsequent statement. As far as I know this is standard practice in the health care industry. I have also never been required to pay in full at a visit without any statement of services rendered.

Thank you for your feedback, Hilary. As a courtesy, our office bills your insurance directly on your behalf. For procedures that are not covered by insurance because they exceed the frequency limitation or are not a covered benefit, however, we collect payment directly from the patient when services are rendered. As an additional service to our patients, we verify your benefits prior to your appointment to notify you of any out-of-pocket expenses to anticipate so you may be prepared. We apologize if our efforts were not to your satisfaction. Please speak to us about making alternative arrangements and we will try our best to accommodate your request.

An appointment was scheduled for my husband, but when his appointment could not be completed (due to our oversight) I was fit in for a cleaning. We really appreciated the flexibility.
I liked Dr. Phan's willingness and ability to explain what the photos showed.
I also appreciate the fact that X-rays can be shared via email these days.

Over the past year of going to Los Gatos Family Dentistry I've had several cleanings as well as other work done. The staff is always very friendly and professional and Dr. Phan is very thorough and explains things very well. Also, our 7 year old doesn't mind going to the dentist now. I would recommend this office to anyone.
