Dr. Giancarlo Licata prides himself on utilizing the world's most specific and precise spinal corrective procedures. Dr. Licata brings to the Los Angeles area, from the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association, the latest gentle spinal care techniques.
By caring for patients with a variety of conditions, Dr. Licata is keenly aware of the importance of precision, sustainability, and reproducible results when it comes to correcting patients' spines and nerve systems.
Doctor Licata is one of only 250 doctors in the United States trained in NUCCA spinal care. This form of spinal care called NUCCA (National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association) was developed to correct injuries to the spine and nervous system using the latest in biomechanics and neurology.
Dr Licata attained his B.A. in Political Science and Minor in Spanish Literature from the UCSD and his B.S. in Human Biology, and Doctorate in Chiropractic from CCC-LA. Dr Giancarlo Licata is nationally board certified, California Board Certified, a member of International Chiropractic Association, and the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association
Dr Giancarlo Licata lives in Sierra Madre with his wife, Sonja, their two children, Elijah and Gianna, and their dog, Rumi.

December 2011 I shattered my tail bone. I went to an orthopedic surgeona who put me on pain meds. I continued to be in constant pain so I went back to see the specialist who then did an MRI. The results where the Dr. telling me to pretty much deal with the pain as there was nothing that could be done and stronger pain meds. I then sought a 2nd opinion with a back specialist and he discovered a herniated disk which I was told was the cause of my pain. This Dr. sent me to therapy which only hurt my back more. The day before my following up appt. I was told about Dr. Licata by my brother in law. I canceled my appt. with the specialist and made an appt. with Dr. Licata. He is truly a godsend. After only a few weeks he made me feel way better than any drugs or therapy. I have been going to him since June 26th and I have improved by 90%. If some pain does return Dr. Licata just does an adjustment and I am good to go. Along the way the adjustments have improved thigns I didn't even go to him for, i.e. digestion, headaches, stress, vision, etc. I highly recommend anyone suffering to see Dr. Licata and his wonderful staff.

I'm a school teacher and a about 2-3 weeks ago I picked up the flu from my students. The headaches and no energy and unrestful sleep just kept lingering. I realized that it was not the flu symptoms but that I needed an alignment from Dr. Licata. After the alignment 2 days ago I immediately felt better and can sleep much better. I'm going back today to get double checked. I'm on the trail to 100% energy and life again. No more delay!

I've had my initial visit yesterday and was treated with respect and felt that I had a thorough interview. Dr. Licata and his receptionist Nicole were very welcoming and warm. I am hopeful that Dr. Licata will be able to help with restoring my body!

I am commenting only on my first visit, but I was treated cordiallly by the receptionist and found Dr. Licata to be patient, kind, open, and honest. I had some tests done and will return this week. I am very optimistic that he can help me relieve some of my back pain.
It is a little early to do a more extensive review.

My first introduction to dr Licatta was wonderful. He reviewed every step of the process and made me feel confident about what could be done to get rid of my back and neck problems. He even was humble enough to say that if he couldn't treat me he would provide me with other practitioners who could. I would recommend him to anyone who has back and any form of pain problems

I had been suffering from a burning pain on my left shoulder for about a month and after my visit with Dr. Licata my pain is no longer as severe and I was able to sleep a lot better.
