My appointment was at 1:25 p.m. I was on time. I was made to wait so long after being taken to inside waiting room. Dr. Winston was so distracted. He would start talking to me then jump up and take care of someone else even in mid-sentence. I did not feel that my issues were inportant enough to him to focus on, How can I have confidence enough in him to let him do my surgery? Everyone else was very nice. I did not get out of there until after 4 p.m.

Dr. Winston is one wonderful eye doctor!! He picked up my "emergency" call on a Sunday afternoon and insisted I make an appointment the following day to see him--ASAP. I was not even his patient!!!!!!! It turned out I had a corneal abrasion that was not being treated correctly. Not only did he "fix" the problem, he did so with extreme expertise! The best part is I have found a wonderful new ophthalmologist!!!!!!
This was my first time to deal with Dr. Ly completely and she was so reassuring and helpful. She went beyond the average optical visit. She worked with me and got so many things resolved. She gave me many helpful suggestions. I have had a multitude of health issues in the past year and I feel that my eyes are being so very carefully monitored by the La Mirada Eye & Laser Center!
