I enjoy going to a salon to get my haircut about as much as I enjoy going to the dentist. My haircuts are never quite right, and never look great after a few days, however since I rediscovered Ruiz Salon I cannot wait for my appointment. The front desk always makes me feel special. At checkout I am never pressured to buy "products"... From the oh so relaxing head massage to the perfect haircut.... I am so happy to be back!!!!

I came in for a corrective color and new cut. Loved the results. Felt welcome and appreciate the care and concern showed to me while there. Colorist and stylist were very personable and knowledgeable. Already scheduled my next appointments!

I've been at Jackson Ruiz for the last four years and my beloved stylist recently left, so this was my first cut with a new stylist. The service was great, as always. The cut, however, is not. The layers are all wrong, face framing is too sharp, it's too heavy in certain places and too light in others, and it hangs like a limp, dead animal rather than having its usual high volume feel. I'm picky about my hair and I know that it takes time for a new stylist to do my hair the way I like it, so I'll try with Jordyn again before looking for another stylist.

My service was great, as usual. This was an appointment I had rescheduled due to a conflict later in the week. I was given a print out of future appointments, as I had made my Nov and Dec holiday appointments months ago because of how busy they get around the holidays. I saw that instead of rescheduling my appointment this week, the person I spoke to had mistakenly moved my November appointment. So I still had an appointment in 3 days but nothing in November. And of course my stylist is completely booked the week I was supposed to come in. I get that mistakes happen but was disappointed by how it was handled. No one apologized for the screw-up. No one offered to try to fix the situation. I was told nope, she's not available. That was the end of it.
