I think the cut I received is fine but the stylist I saw was a disappointment. When I visit a salon such as Jackson Ruiz I am expecting the stylist to offer options on ways to cut and style my hair that will help achieve the look I'm going for. The response I got to requesting layers/more interest in my long, straight cut hair was essentially "Your cuticle can't do that and the only way to get more going on is to cut it short." I ended up agreeing to taking off 4" and getting some framing around my face. I also pushed for a long bang so I could at least have something a little different. Like I said, the cut is fine--I think with the right products I can make it more of what I want (the stylist only used "Damage Repair" and nothing to boost volume or fullness). It was just not the experience or end product I feel I should be getting from a higher end salon like Jackson Ruiz.
