The quote was $125 off. Quoted $625. Which included a transmission flush. cost $750. Included a "shop fee". Not sure what that is. Not sure I can recommend this garage. I feel they conveniently leave off the taxes in the estimate.

When your husband, Les, came in to pay, he told you that the total was what he was expecting it to be. I'm not sure what we could have done differently. We always state that the quote is "plus tax and supplies". Shop supply charges are pretty standard at every shop including the dealers. It covers the expense of cleaners, shop towels, incidental nuts and bolts, etc. that are used during the repair.

I took advantage of a discount offer received by mail. The offer was for an oil change and a check of the vehicle. When I paid for the service, nothing was ever said postively or negatively about what was uncovered in the check of the vehicle. It made me wonder if any check had occurred. I suspect my battery may need to be replaced and would have liked confirmation on whether or not the battery is low. I would have liked recommendations based on what visual inspections of belts uncovered.

Had front brakes and a transmission flush done. I also had some questions about a couple of electrical problems which they checked out for me. the work was done on time and the price was very fair.The work that GT Automotive does is always first class and they care about their customers. they keep you informed of any problems they encounter or any changes that need to be made. I appreciate their honesty and great service.
