This is the second time I am using your shop and although my first experience was perfectly fine, I am very disappointed in the way Lexi was groomed yesterday. The weather was awful yesterday and I was just anxious to get home, so I really didn't take a close look at my dog until we got back to my house. The groomer shaved her really close and in fact, Lexi has patches under her legs where she has hardly any hair left at all. There was no need for this. Although Lexi's coat was long when I brought her in, she was not matted and, in fact, I had brushed and combed her out the night before to make sure the groomer would have no difficulties. It looks to me as though the groomer didn't take any special pains at all but must have been in a rush or just careless. She seemed to have just shaved off Lexi's hair in one fell swoop, coming awfully close to the skin in a number of places. I will have to give serious thought as to whether I will bring my dog back to you ever again... and if I were to give you another chance, I certainly wouldn't want that same groomer working on my dog - I am being polite enough not to mention the groomer's name as I understand that these reviews are published on your site. That I took the time to write this at all is proof of just how upset I am. My dog is an older dog who is exceptionally good-natured and anyone who has ever worked on her has always commented on how wonderfully mellow and well behaved she is.
Mrs Frank as per our phone conversation I apologize you had such a bad experience. I spoke to you groomer and Lexis legs were matted by her belly and inside of her thighs and could not be combed out. This should have been discussed with you, Again I apologize, and as per our phone conversation will take care of you when you come in for you next visit. thank you for giving us another shop.
