I wish the cubicles were a little more private since it's upscale. I think the prices are extremely high. I do like my stylist. Charging, even at other salons, for a blow dry is a shame. It should be a courtesy or let the customer do it her or hisself, if you are charging. Also, the waiting chairs are very uncomfortable.
I will be back because I like who I go to. When I suggest Ginger Bay to someone I will tell them you are very expensive.

Thank you for your feedback Mary. We certainly hope you will refer us to your friends, but also let them know that we do have stylists at several different price points. As far as the blowdry is concerned, that service is included in the price of the color or cut and we do not charge additionally for that. Again thank you for your feedback. Hi. I love Ginger Bay. I am a big fan. I have noticed that over the past year it has become increasingly difficult to get appointment times. I mostly like to schedule my spa services on a whim when I feel I need a treat or some relaxation. I know it is important know what the schedule is for the day, but I have been frequently disappointed when I try to add on a service. Today I have a massage scheduled, I know it will be wonderful. I would like to add on a blowout for my hair and even a makeup appointment because I am going out afterwards. I live that I can shower and change in your wonderful dressing room. It is just a little disappointing because I would love to spend a little more money and be pampered.

I don't feel my technician did the most thorough pedicure (trimming away dead skin, etc.) The overall experience was great!

I took a older model car to Don for an oil change and diagnostic check. The maintenance and repairs he said it needed exceeded the value of the car. Had this vehicle been maintained by Don and his staff at an earlier stage of it's life would have been a far happier ending. The extra-ordinary level of service provided by Giannini's is unheard of in the auto repair business. He stands alone with a philosophy that if followed by more auto owners, we'd have far more older model cars on the road running flawlessly and spend far less on new cars. However in this particular case, it didn't make financial sense. Giannini's approach to vehicle maintenance isn't for everyone, but works well for many, many customers. I applaud Don and his staff. Expect to pay more and drive more trouble-free miles.read more …
