All persons I came in contact with were courteous, friendly and professional. Dr. Wood was ready to listen to any concerns I had and I did not feel rushed. He explained results of my exam and I felt I received excellent care.

We have been going for years and to be honest, there is no other doctor I would consider going to. There is just one thing that I would like to share since that is the purpose of receiving this survey. I really have a tough time justifying the payment for the contact evaluation. I think it is $69? I believe I have been told prior that this is the consultation fee for meeting with the person to be properly fitted for contacts. As the doctor shared, he is ordering the contacts, wants me to pick them up and wear them for a week and then just call in a week later to order them if I like them. He said I do not even have to come in. I will pay for the fee but it really seems crazy to have to pay for this fee when the person I met with simply ordered them and nothing else is needed. As for everyone, money is tight and every dime helps when you are raising a family and the last thing you want to walk away with is a feeling that you are being nickel and dimed. I could see if I needed a totally different type of contact, they needed to be fitted and required a follow up visit to make sure they fit correctly etc. However, that is not the case here. I feel like I simply handed over the money just because I was asked to. Thank you for listening. Duke Wizner
