Hi, I am Dr. Ackerman, I grew up in Lodi California and graduated dental school in 1986. I then came to Sacramento area and bought this practice. Sacramento has been my home ever since, and I love it!
I have two beautiful children, Taylor is my son and Nikki is my daughter. My kids are my first priority and my best friends. In the winter we ski and snowboard in Tahoe as much as our schedules allow. In summer, we like to camp and take the boat out on the lake. As long as we are together, we are having a good time!
One of my passions is being a part of the community. I am the President for the Sacramento District Dental Society and a board member of the California Dental Association. I find networking and continuing education very rewarding, and I am grateful for the opportunities I have been offered by being a part of these institutions.
My philosophy in my dental office is to give the best possible care to the best possible patients. I am conservative in my approach to dental care and want the patient to be comfortable at all times. I hope you call my office and when you come in, I want you to enjoy it here as much as I do.

I always have great service provided to me at Dr. Garys office from Dr. Gary to the entire staff and excellant service from Gay. Gary is very good at informing you of exactly what he is doing and making sure you are as comfortable as you can be with very little pain during procedures. I highly recommend Dr. Gary when given the opportunity.

Was in for a deep, deep, deep cleaning. Arlen had to shoot me up 6-7 times in the roof of the mouth. Thought I was going to die, but it all worked out great. My teeth feel great and so does my mouth.
