I got a cut and color done. I brought in a picture and the stylist, David, was upfront that he could not get my hair the exact color I wanted but it would be "a few shades different." I came in with blonde highlights, asked for it to be all over blonde, and came out with "auburn" hair that was much much darker than a few shades off of the blonde picture I showed him. He could have easily given me all over fine blonde highlights and instead just put an all over brown color on my roots. It looks awful and i actually had a friend comment that my hair is noticeably 2 different colors. To top the cake, he never asked how I would have liked my (very curly) hair styled. He scrunched it and dried it halfway and then he snipped at the sides (WHILE IT WAS CURLY) for about 2 seconds and sent me on my merry way. My husband said I looked like a wet poodle. For the haircut he charged $60 and I walked away with so many split ends. So in the end I got a half done hair color, a cut that was only on the sides, and no blowout. The total was $200! I went to another salon in the area today and had them actually trim it. THAT cut was $27 and the girl did a fantastic job. I called the spa after my bad experience and asked for a refund on my money and I was told that I could come in again and they could "try" to fix it but they refused to refund me for a half assed cut and an awful color. The best part was that the girl that went after me also left a yelp review. She gave 1 star as well. The front desk staff deserve that star for their superior service but I would give the stylist a 0 if I could.
