I recently had a hair appointment for a cut and gloss treatment last week. I've been a loyal member of The Spa @ Folawn's for about 2 years. This past appointment, however, I was very let down with the customer service I received. When I arrived and checked in I wasn't offered anything to drink. Normally all of the girls at the front desk are very nice and helpful and always ask if I'd like anything to drink. This time was different. Maybe it was because the girl was new? Or are complimentary drinks no longer offered? I'm still not sure.
On to my actual hair appointment. I proceeded with my stylist as usual to start my shampoo and gloss treatment. Usually I receive a complimentary hand/arm massage while my gloss is setting, but I wasn't even offered it this time. My stylist seemed to be rushed that day and not like herself. Maybe it was issues at home, or maybe it was because she was trying to finish up with me fast so she could get to the next customer? I have noticed the past few times I've been going it seems like there has been some scheduling conflicts that arise that force my stylist to have to rush or let my color/glosses set for longer than anticipated.
All in all, I was still satisfied with the results of my gloss and cut. I just feel like for an appointment that costs $85, I need to be receiving top-notch customer service all-around. Without the added amenities of complimentary drinks and hand/arm massages I can't fully justify spending that much money on a service. I'm hoping these issues get fixed by my next appointment.
