Great frame selection...

I had to wait an extended period of time. Probably about 40 minutes past my scheduled time (To which I arrived early), but once I saw the optometrist, she was extremely thorough, precise, and helpful.

I also enjoyed picking out a new set of glasses frames. They were very helpful and gave me honest opinions.

Dr. Birdsong was very thorough and her staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. This was my first visit to her office and I 100% recommend that you make her your optometrist.

I visited the Atlanta store on Peachtree Street. Most of the staff were friendly, professional and courteous. A staff that was new to the store worked patiently with me to choose my frames and explained the variables and specifics of lenses selection. My only issue during my visit was the very high cost of their frames, which started at $160! The eye exam alone was $150. I discovered this store via Groupon, which I purchased for $65 to cover my eye exam and $200 towards the frames. I selected Gant frames (with prescription progressive, anti-reflective, poly-carbonate lenses) which came up to $480! That's with my $200 discount. Sadly, I ended up with a cheaper (Jubilee $179) frames and ended up paying $260 out of pocket. Afterwards, I found the same Jubilee frames online for $45.95.

The service was excellent. There was always someone addressing me and my boyfriend and making sure we were taken care of, even helping us select a pair of frames for me. Dr. Birdsong and her assistant were very kind and professional during my eye exam. The paperwork was painless because i could fill out most of it online beforehand.

I would have given five stars, but the price of frames felt very expensive at this establishment compared to others I've been to, even after asking for cheap pairs, and even after insurance. I'm a college student and I don't have much disposable income. Otherwise the experience was pleasurable and I would definitely recommend them.

I've been a patient of Dr. Hochberg since 1987 when I moved to Atlanta. You cannot find a better dentist. I have had many in various parts of the country. His staff is also excellent. They are very professional. Appointments are met on time. The office environment with its spectacular views of the Atlanta Skyline, better than state of the art equipment, wireless patient headphones, and other technology add to the dental care experience.
