Elgin Family Dental

Dr. Carl F. Herring is a native Texan, who was born and raised in San Antonio. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a member of the Longhorn Band. After graduating, he decided to pursue the same career as his grandfather, and he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1977 from Baylor College of Dentistry, located in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Scott B. Herring was born and raised in Elgin, Texas. He graduated from Elgin High School with honors in 1996, and then he went on to complete his undergraduate studies at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. In May of 2005, Dr. Scott Herring graduated Cum Laude from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. At graduation, he received the prestigious Excellence in Clinical Dentistry Award.
