It was first time back into the salon in 2 yrs and I told myself that I wouldn't go back but being that I had a special event to go to I thought that I would give it one more shot as long as I didn't get the last hair stylist. I brought in a picture of what I had wanted (updo) and I probably should've been more specific because when it was done I felt like it was close to the picture but not exactly. I really wanted bigger curls and more of a hump on top of my head to give me some height. And in the picture the curls were more sleek and mine were not. I've paid less money elsewhere and got exactly what I wanted so for those reasons I only gave 2.5 stars. Sorry but I'm being honest and I should not of went back. So much for second chances.

We apologize for your less that perfect experience. We take pride in our work and artistry at Edge so of course we are disappointed that your expectations were not exactly met. Our stylists are trained to replicate photos but as expected, they are not always able to completely match a photo. Our stylists will gladly re-do or make adjustments according to your expectations as necessary while you are still in the chair so we apologize that we were unable to correct any issues while you were still in the salon. Thank you for your honest review and we will work to make improvements for the future.

My experience at Edge was not a good one on Friday. The manager of the salon was very rude to the individual cutting my hair. While it was being cut he stood behind us with his arms folded - totally disconcerting and he kept trying to take over the haircut. I had no idea who he was and I didn't want him cutting my hair. Three different people dried my hair and when I thought I was finally done, the manager again came over to further clip at my hair. Past experiences have been good, but this time I was very disappointed in the lack of professionalism demonstrated by the management.

Awesome haircuts. Just know their promotions never change. It would be nice to give regular customers a discount once in a while instead of just first time customers.

I've been going to Lana for years and she is a fantastic stylist. Even when I lived in Europe I never found anyone (and believe me I tried!) as good as her for the price to quality ratio. I've also had haircuts and done the Brazilian Keratin treatment with other stylists at Edge, junior to top range stylists. Though I found the Brazilian Keratin treatment a bit expensive, I've never been disappointed by the quality of service.

I've been a patient of McKenna Dentistry for over 20 years but that is not why I write this review. I write because, there are many dentists and they will all tell you what they believe needs to be done (some good some not so good) HOWEVER, it's having a dentist that thinks of the patient and their comfort as well as their long term dental health and 'knows their stuff' that is difficult to find. After 15 years in HR, I know how people search for the right physician and that there are standard 'dental fears'. The McKenna Family Dentistry is a group that treats their patients with kindness and consideration and makes you feel very comfortable. An hour in a dentist's chair is not the best time in our life, but it can be an hour that you know the proper service is being provided, you are in good hands and as comfortable as you will ever be in the situation. (They offer you a warm blanket for goodness sake!!!). And so, after being that patient that has made many visits to the dentist, "If you need a dentist, go to McKenna Family Dentistry"... "If you want a dentist to keep you healthy, go to McKenna Family Dentistry". Smileread more …
