About
Don's Auto Repair is a story of family heritage dating back to 1941. Starting as a small mechanic shop in Montgomery, Marion Schnitzler (Don Jr's grandfather) began what would become a legacy running five generations deep.
His son, Don Sr, studied the family business closely, ultimately taking over in 1958. In true Schnitzler fashion, his own son, Don Jr, got his hands dirty at the young age of 14. You're beginning to see a pattern, yes?
Wanting to further the business, Don Jr incorporated and trademarked Don's Auto Repair, Inc. in Blue Ash Ohio in 1983 at the age of 26. Just three years later the shop moved to its present location at 6063 Cornell Road. Don Sr (more fondly known as Pappy) continued his own body shop called Don's Auto Body until he sold it in 2003.
You can now find him working side-by-side with his son and two grandsons, Don III and Chad, who are now co-owners.

I've taken my vehicle to Don's for several necessary but expensive repairs over the past year. Most recently, I took my SUV in to investigate yet another warning light, fully expecting bad news. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that while there was a problem, the vehicle was safe to drive even without the pricey fix. No high pressure "Ma'am you really need to have that taken care of" Thanks guys for an honest answer!
