Dr. Ben was highly recommended by two of my bosses. I had previously had a bad experience at the dentist and had waited TOO long to go again. I was able to get in right away. Dr. Ben and his staff our friendly, caring and VERY knowledgeable. Dr. Ben's sincere and upbeat nature certainly put me at ease. He explains what is happening as he goes along and always asks if everything is alright. His crowns are a work of art!
So happy to have found a great dentist close by. Happy to say I will not have to search for a dentist again.

Normally I absolutely loath dentists, everything they do terrifies me and the fact that they're allowed to wield a needle and inject you only adds to how much I dislike them.
Recently I moved to California and needed an emergency root canal but I didn't have a dentist yet. I was in pain all weekend and come Monday morning I was just dying. I probably called 15 dental offices the moment they opened and not one of them could squeeze me, a new patient, in until late in the afternoon except Benjamin T. Stevens, DDS. In spite of my pain I was still very unhappy and nervous to be going to the dentist, once I got there they hurried me in to an exam room and he was examining me moments later. Unlike many of the dentists I've been to in the past he was very kind and talked me through every little thing he did. Since I was in desperate need of a root canal I of course needed a shot, my least favorite part, I hardly felt a thing. I don't think I'll be switching dentists any time soon. I don't have a single complaint about him or his office.
During a routine check up and cleaning, Dr. Stevens identified a filling that needed a supplemental bonding. Unaware of the issue myself, Dr. Stevens was able to efficiently complete the procedure without having to schedule an additional appointment. The results were excellent, with Dr. Stevens making sure I was satisfied before leaving. Another example of Dr. Stevens, and his staff, going the extra mile in patient care.
Dr. Stevens is really fast and accurate which is important when you have a drill in your mouth. Great work - very careful - very friendly.
