I didn't have any particular issues with Destress Express however I was not happy with the massage therapist Betsy. I will say in advance that I am a physical therapist assistant and my area of expertise is manual work, specifically myofascial release so worry about truly deep tissue work and it's inflammation. I have a chronic back problem that became inflamed and I was desperate for work. Really wanted to see Henry who is a friend and of course, because he is so popular he was unavailable. From the first meeting with Betsy, she was frantic and agitated, not grounded at all, racing around the room, making me feel agitated as well. She stated at the beginning that she doesn't stop for "ouch" and she didn't. I had to ask her to reduce her pressure more than once and I held my breath for most of the treatment. My feet and hands were clenched throughout and all of the cues that I pay attention to to ensure good care were ignored. I spent many days recovering from the massage despite taking motrin, drinking lots of water and taking epsom salt baths. This weekend is the best I've felt since that massage because I literally have sat on my couch. I am not disappointed in Destress but I think you should reconsider having a massage therapist like Betsy on staff as she did not provide quality care.
