I had an appointment for myself and my three children. All back to back appointments on the same day. The morning of the apt. I had to call to reschedule due to my daughter getting sick. I called several hours prior to my appointment. When I tried to reschedule I was told that I would have to split the appointment to two different days. This was for the reason of having "too big" of a block open when someone cancels. I live by Virginia City. It's about a 45+ minute drive. So now I'm being asked to double MY time and double MY gas with 3 young kids in tow. I truly felt like I was being "punished" for having to reschedule. I was told that this is their "true" policy and I was scheduled an "error" when I had all 4 of us the same day. Well, they were willing to accommodate me for the first apt. but not for the rescheduled apt. I totally get the business side of it however, their scheduled time is more important then their clients scheduled time. That big gap doesn't work for their schedule so they want you to double your time, gas, energy so it DOES fit their schedule. Hummmm. That just doesn't seem right. They had plenty of notice to fill in that gap with other clients. Where is the customer service here!? That's too bad. They lost 4 potential new clients because of this.
It was a very great experience. Everyone in office from reception desk to out the door was so helpful and nice. Doctor Scott was just great and so helpful. Will send all my friends there.
The Demers Family Vision Group provided excellent, prompt service. everyone there was friendly and I felt like my questions/concerns about my eyes were addressed whenever they came up. Dr. Demers is excellent and takes more time than the average Dr to assess and discuss findings related to my personal vision and the health of my eyes.
I think the atmosphere is friendly and relaxing, not intimidating. All my questions are answered. Thank You
