This was a great experience. We board here often and in the past it hasn't been the greatest experience. For the following reasons, he seems to need a ton of shots or test done to board there, so it cost more than if we would take him other places. I understand he needs certain vaccines like rabies and most places you need bordatella once a year. He seems to need 3-5 things every time we go in, which can cost us 3 times more than if we went somewhere else.

This time, he needed nothing for once. They took pictures regarding his stay and sent them to us (which is always very nice and lets us know he is getting his playtime). We received our extra bag of food back (which almost never happens). It was a great experience. Wish it was like this every time.

Bella was afraid once we went in, but the assistants and the doctor put her at ease. I felt she was in excellent care in the hands of all. Now she is resting and in total comfort. Thanks to all that served her today

My dog had to take medication while he was boarded, and the staff not only made sure he took it... They sent me texts every day to let me know how he was doing. It was wonderful to have that peace of mind.

The primary reason I did not rate higher is that the vet tech spent far too much time 'selling' treatments and the visit felt as if we were participating in an infomercial. I appreciate that the tech shared her vast knowledge of fleas, ticks and related illnesses/diseases and I understand the importance of preventative care. It was a bit off putting this last visit especially after I had expressed when we arrived in the exam room that we were short on time and wanted to address the immediate need(s) and postpone those that could be taken care of next month. Our family has brought many of our pets to Deepwood over the years (I recall bringing our Shar Pei to the trailer) and have referred friends and family. Our experiences have ranged from great to not great at all. One of the worst experiences was the sudden loss of our lab (opted for euthanasia) in the fall of 2014. We still bring our other pets, mostly because of familiarity and convenience.
