Everyone I spoke with at the office was terrific. I brought some good plaque on my teeth this time; it was handled most efficiently with a minimum of pain (none). I can't wait for my autumn visit.

I was very impressed with the service and how they went through my coverage plan. Dr. A was great. In fact I asked when are you going to do the rest of the work? We already did was the answer. It was so smooth I didn't even relize the Doc had exstracted my wisdom tooth. i'm ready for my follow up.

Appreciate being told that dental implants don't hurt - that took away the fear. I think I have done well. I am feeling weak and tired today and don't know if that has anything to do with the implants. Saturday whirling type dizzyness - that was gone when I woke up Sunday morning.

Artistic Dental replied:

Hey Joan, you Are doing well :-) .. When you hear the word "implant" it can instill fear, like "root canal" or "extraction" There is often pre-conceived impressions of those procedures because those who have had bad experiences tend to share more loudly than those who have good experiences. And unfortunately, in the dental and medical field, every body reacts just a little differently to procedures so it is hard to predict what side effects may occur. Many factors such as medications, health history, and current health all contribute to the outcome and success of the treatment. Your dizziness could have been caused by the medications we prescribe for patients to take prior to the implant placement, or yes, just other factors that are a combination of the side effect. Glad you felt better soon after and we look forward to getting your smile complete again! Thank you for being a great patient.
