A good mechanic or auto repair shop is built on trust. This place is strictly in the business of ripping people off. There are multiple other mechanics in the area which are much more trustworthy and priced reasonable. Stay as far away from this place as possible.

Found Convoy Auto Repair on the web. I asked them to fix my airconditiong. While they were doing this they noticed cooling system leaks and noted that timing belt required replacement. I had them do all the repairs and they did a fine job! They completed the work on time and for the price quoted with a discount. Very trustworthy, friendly and competent staff !

Convoy Auto Repair ripped me off! I brought my car in after it overheated. They told me I had to replace the radiator in order to run proper diagnostics- FALSE. My radiator was only ten months old. $750 later I have a new radiator and they told me they put in a new thermostat too. I drove my car from the shop to Vista, CA and it over heated again. Their mechanic did not attach the hose to the new radiator! I had it towed to my trusted mechanic and he told me that they did not need to replace the radiator, it didn't look like the thermostat was even touched- yet replaced, and all I needed was a new fan switch. I spent over $1000 in the end when it should've been $300. DO NOT GO TO CONVOY AUTO REPAIR!

Sorry to hear of your problems, we did not receive any feedback from our quality control call 3 days after the repairs. We have a 2 year/24,000 mile warranty. Your old radiator had a physical crack and active coolant leak on the top right corner. This was the source of the coolant loss you indicated. If we had been advised that the radiator was 10 month old we would have suggested making a warranty claim. All parts were replaced and vehicle was test driven for 2 miles to confirm proper fan operation and normal coolant temperature after our repairs. It appears, as we discussed you also had an intermittent electrical cooling fan problem. Intermittent electrical problems can be frustrating as unless they act up while being tested we cannot condemn the part. I am sorry you had to make additional repairs to your car but am glad to hear it is all working well today.
