I called on Thursday got an appointment for Monday morning easily. I showed up on time with paperwork they had emailed me filled out -- zero waiting. The technician took me through five different machines that pictured, evaluated, probed, puffed, and blindified my eyes (temporarily ;) in about 5 minutes, each time meticulously recording numbers into the computer.
I then sat in the examination room for about 30-45 seconds and the doc showed up. He looks like Ron White (the comedian). He showed me the results from those machines, explained what we were seeing, what we didn't want to see, why it was good we didn't see it, and how my vision is overall. He then did a little bit of the "which is better, one or two, one or two" to verify what the computer said with old-fashioned lenses.
We then shook hands once more and I went into the main room to pick out new lenses. The young lady was thorough on explaining the various options like glare prevention, UV protection, auto-darkening, etc. Also she upsold me on the thinner lighter lenses.
I walked out a poorer man money wise but a richer man for knowing that in 7-10 days I'll have new glasses that are just perfect for my vision today.
