Never place your very nice prescription sunglasses, even for a moment, on the trunk of your car and forget they are there! You might later drive away, realize during your drive that your glasses are missing, and then have to re-step where you had last been to find them, which s exactly what happened to me.

Luckily, I had them in the Maui Jim case because, though I was incredibly fortunate that some kind sole left them sitting on a rock wall hoping the owner (me) would be able to find them, the case had been run over by at least one vehicle, so the frames were completely ruined. Luckily, the lenses were perfect!

So the next morning, into Bender Eyecare I went, and before the end of the day, my glasses were either in route to MJ for repair or a new set of frames was ordered. Regardless, I'll have them back in 7-10 days, and I use them everyday! All on the Bender Eyecare team, including the shop's namesake, were very helpful and they even offered up some relief of the financial pain on the new frames (the warranty does not cover owner stupidity!) with a 25% break on the price of the frames.

Thanks for taking care of me, Bender Eyecare! Are my shades back yet??

I got directions from Google Maps and ended up lost. The staff was kind enough to wait for my daughter and I to arrive before closing. All three staff members I dealt with were nice, respectful and helpful. Well worth the drive!
