I've had anxieties for years about dental visits and postponed them also due to cost and not having insurance.

I met Dr. Velasquez a few years ago before finally being ready financially and emotionally to pick up the phone and make that call.

I finally did and from the start everything was amazing !

Aymara was extremely sweet and helpful , answered a few of the questions I had and I felt confidant to take this 1st step.

My 1st appointment I was greeted by the lovely Maria Elena and I shared some of my concerns with her, we did took some Xrays and performed a cleaning. Shortly after Dr. Velasquez came in we discussed and treatment plan and that was it ! My case was not as bad as I thought. I was able to get some dental work done that day as well. We scheduled another 3 visits. Today was my last visit for the treatment plan. Both Maria Elena and Dr. Velazques are very gentle with patients and are always concerned for the patients comfort. I'm extremely pleased with the work the team has performed and would definitely recommend them to friends and family! Thank you very much for everything!! You guys are Rock Stars !!!

Today, I had my tooth pulled by the Honorable Dr. Angel Velazquez. If you have reservations about the pain or the procedure as a whole. Hopefully this review will give you some comfort. Jokingly I asked Dr. AV, "So tell me am I your fifth tooth ever pulled!?!" He laughed an informed me when he was a resident at Jackson Memorial, he would pull up to 50 teeth a day. Honestly this gave me a lot of comfort...

He also sat with me to talk about the procedure and what to expect before and gave full instructions in writing after on the care. The best part was before he started, he said "Now James do you have any more questions?" In other words he is calm, informative and made me relaxed before he started his work.

The anesthesia took effect immediately, I had no numbness in my jaw or tongue. I felt no pain what-so-ever before during or after the procedure. Actually after the extraction I began to sing Ave Maria as my celebration of no pain during this process.

In closing, if you have any major concerns about this process.. Dr. Velazquez is really an excellent doctor. Hopefully my post may help with those concerns. Sincerely, JamesT

As a new patient, I was not sure what to expect on my first visit. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a kind and professional team. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed and the entire experience (four fillings) was pain-free. It is so gratifying to experience such excellent service. I look forward to my next visit. I highly recommend this Doctor and staff!

I had a great experience and will highly recommend AVM Dentistry to anyone. It was my first time with them. I found the Staff very professional and extremely nice. The offices are very clean and they use State of the Art technology and instruments. What I liked the most is that doctor Velazquez spent a lot of time explaining the type of procedure that I needed to get done and he answered all of my questions. The procedure was smooth and painless and they also followed up with me the following day. You can definitely tell that they are very concerned for their patients. Overall a very pleasant experience. Looking forward to my next visit.
