I have taken my car to other shops around town trying to save some money. I always end up having more problems then when i go in. But at Autovantage they fix everything and anything proper the first time you go. If you want your car done the right way, go here.

Trish was just so awesome and helpful co-ordinating the services at Autovantange PLUS new tires and a new windshield so we could get our car in tiptop shape to ship to Texas. Brian and Trish were very accommodating when we brought the car back in because it was making a 'sound' that promptly stopped the minute Brian took it out for a test and has not recurred since. THANKS!

It is unfortunate that after many years of satisfied patronage that things had to degrade so rapidly. The last time my 350Z had a full fluid change was on 3/9/10 (Invoice 3677). Here were the charges:
5 qt oil change: $36.99 (w/coupon)
MT drain and fill: $74.90
Diff fluid change: $53.55
Coolant flush: $100.43
Total minus oil change: $228.88
Fast forward to 4/17/13 (Invoice 8674):
Oil change: $48.99 (N/C because of overcharging on incorrect amount of oil on previous visits)
MT drain and fill: $126.60
Diff fluid change: $75.80
Coolant flush: $134.95
Total minus oil change: $337.35
Nearly a 50% increase. I certainly understand labor and material costs going up. But after comparing the $23.65 per quart I was charged for 75W85 gear oil, I checked Nissan's OEM prices. Future Nissan quoted $12.99 a quart and I found the following online:
Nissan OEM Manual Transmission Fluid MTF 75W85 - 999MP-MTF00P
Part Number 999MP-MTF00P
Price
Retail Price: $12.49
Your Savings: $3.24
Your Price:
$9.25
I would never expect to pay double Future Nissan's dealership retail price for "parts".
But the most disturbing revelation occurred as this was the first time I left the car while it was being serviced. I always reset both trip computers to keep track of mileage between service intervals and I did so again when I dropped the car off. For some reason there were 8 miles driven between drop off and pick up the next day and the customary " mileage out" was not entered on the invoice. I have spoken to numerous "car guys" over the weekend and not one could think of a valid reason for test driving a car for a simple fluid change. I even spoke to Bryan when making the appt about the aggressive/untrained manner in which my car was driven the last time it was brought in for service and specifically mentioned an appreciation for techs not driving the car unnecessarily. So that leaves me one of two explanations: either Bryan purposefully drove the car despite my expressed wishes not to do so or the tech who performed the service took the car out without Bryan's knowledge. I would think everyone in your shop would have better things to do during the day than waste time driving around in a "sweet ride", as the service adviser described the car. Whether it was driven to ensure that everything is functioning properly, to run an errand or just have a good time behind the wheel, I'm afraid I can no longer trust leaving my car in your care.

Such a great business. Really good caring people. They have always fixed the problems I was having and pointed out others issues they may find. Really good about letting me know what is serious and what is minor.

It's wonderful to have a mechanic I know and trust taking care of my vehicles. Bryan and Becki have a great shop with fair prices, and I know I'm in good hands. Each time I go in they review my last service and make notes if anything has changed, which I find incredibly helpful. Their receipts/invoices are great records, way more than I ever got from my truck's dealer servicing.
A good mechanic is hard to find, and I'm glad to have Autovantage.
