I'm a new patient and booked an appt for a teeth cleaning. Person on phone booked my appt for the next day as there was a cancellation. It would be helpful if person on phone would advise that I would need to transfer my full xrays before my booked appt. Luckily I read the email immediately after receiving but had I been in meetings, it wouldn't have been read until that evening and therefore I wouldn't have been able to get the xrays to Aria in time for my cleaning. Person on the phone knew that I was a first-time client and therefore should have red-flagged this need after offering me an appt for the next day.
I have been getting cleanings 2x/year for the last 19 years in Chicago and this was the shortest experience to date -- just under ten minutes. I checked the time so this is no exaggeration. Additionally, the dental hygienist, while very nice, splashed more paste and water on my face (even up my nose!) than I've ever experienced before. She even gave me a towel at the end of the short cleaning.
Over the years I've had almost no teeth issues so I typically leave a dentist appt within 45-50 minutes, with our without xrays. This time, I was out in 20 minutes and I really didn't feel that clean difference like my previous dental visits.
I'm coming back in six months but kindly requested that I get a different dental hygienist. Let's hope for a better experience come Fall.
Doctor and front desk receptionist were both nice and helpful.
