I prefer to have my own small personal repair shop to look after my car. It is local for me and I have found Shane the owner a knowlegable and honest mechanic. As a retired car dealer myself I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Shane to my friends for their service.

We just went to AV Auto Service last week, and as always were quite pleased with our service. I had a list of things that the Ford dealership had recommended, but wanted Shane's opinion.
After checking to see what, if anything was necessary, he narrowed it down to the most important item. The rest was either not required or could wait for a while!
It's always refreshing when you can completely let down your guard, knowing they aren't out to rip you off with unnecessary repairs, and the repairs they DO are quality work!

I am new in Aliso Viejo and I was fortunate to find this place to fix my old Suzuki.
Shane is very nice and the fact that it is open on Saturday is very interresting.
