The eye exam portion of my appointment has always been outstanding. My purchase of glasses has always been the same, UNTIL my last visit. The eye exam portion was still top notch, however, when I went over to inquire about the lenses recommended By Dr. Oliphant, "Jenn" didn't appear to want to give me the same quality service. When asked for a price on lenses, i was told "they're expensive". Then I was asked if I ever wipe my glasses with my shirt. I asked if I could get a quote on lenses with the different options, and was told they would be $500 and up. It appeared Jenn was to busy sorting screws and cleaning out a drawer in her desk to give a quote. I even said she could email me one if she was to busy. Although the eye exam portion was a great experience from Dr. Oliphant and his assistants, I rate the overall experience as average based on the Optician's lack of desire to help me find glasses to improve my vision. What good is the exam if you can't get corrective lenses? Maybe I just need to shop elsewhere for glasses.
