Everyone I spoke to from the front desk to the mechanics to the owners were friendly, knowledgeable and delivered the best customer service possible. Having an older car there were several things going on - they made necessary repairs, discussed future options and answered all my questions. Family owned, best customer service and quick repair at a fair price - I will use this garage for all future car repairs.

Initially told tech that Check Engine light was on but had trouble starting car and eventually car would not start. I (a woman) thought it might be the starter. However the Engine light problem had previously been diagnosed as faulty EGR valve so I shared this info. After extensive and costly diagnostics the only problem found was dead battery. Cost after this was very close to $400. Yeah people almost $400. Tech said I needed serpentine belt replaced account it was cracked. I declined because my bill was already almost $400 and any other repairs I simply could not afford and I asked about the AAA discount. After applying the AAA discount I was quoted a price of $370+ to include the belt replacement. The belt was replaced, the Check Engine light problem was never diagnosed and my final bill was $373.19. The next day the Check Engine light came on again. So I paid $373.19 for battery replacement, replace a belt and the initial Check Engine light problem was never taken care of. I WILL NEVER USE THIS SHOP AGAIN, AAA OR NO AAA APPROVED.

Dear Mrs. Robertson, the vehicle was dead on arrival and with a dead battery and a battery replacement (and the battery cable ends) all the vehicle trouble codes that may turn on a check engine light are wiped out and the computer forgets the code. We drove the vehicle to see if any of the codes would resurface, however they did not after two drive cycles. We cannot fix a problem that is not present at the time of service. If the codes were present or the vehicle had been showing any symptoms of an EGR problem we would have gladly tested the vehicle but unfortunately the vehicle did not want to cooperate with us.
Although now that the check engine light has set a code, there is a program called Air Check Texas that helps people pay for emission repairs to their vehicle (IE: the amber check engine light on).

Most pleasant expierence in repair shop since moving here from Corpus Christi 5yrs. ago. Friendly and effective front staff. The techs explained problems and any ramifacations with pleasant attitude, especially for mechanics. The tech that did the work is the person that explained the problems and solutions. I felt like I was back in Corpus Christi with shops that I've dealt with for decades.

(I'm trying to give 5 stars but it comes out 4.5 for some reason) Gary and Dr. Frank are one of the most patient people I've met. I don't know much about insurance or the dental policy, nor anything about dentist procedures but they will always explain to me the step by step process. Gary is exceptionally nice, I had to reschedule my appointment so many times and he tirelessly helped me out every time I called. One thing to note, they used to take Saturday appointments- PLEASE get that back! It's convenient for people who work far away. Even though there's a Lovett Dental 5 minutes away from my apartment, I'm willing to drive 20 minutes to this location because of the great customer service and professional expertise.read more …
