I thought the service was excellent and I have been to many dentists. Everyone was cordial, clearly cared about what they were doing and at each step in the cleaning/exam process they provided great instruction and insight.
My experience with Pulse Laser and Kimberly (the owner) was really excellent. I'm a guy who just wanted to have a bit of hair on my lower abdomen cleaned up, after my GF had a Brazilian.
Keep in mind that the laser works best with my black hair and light skin, because all the energy goes to the hair follicle that is being destroyed, and the technician needs to set up the machine appropriately.
About 8 months after two treatments very little hair has grown back, a bit less than I wanted, but my girlfriend loves the look.
The two treatments on a decent size area were less than ten minutes each.
In terms of pain, if you snap a small rubber band against your skin, that's about it. Don't think people who said it was very painful had a properly trained technician like Kim.
They say for total hair removal there should be six treatments, each one six weeks apart. My two treatments were six months apart, and, like I said, not much has grown back. I'm still amazed that it worked so well. Not sure why some say it doesn't.
I don't know what my experience would have been like with the other technicians at pulse, but everything regarding the office was very professional. I'm guessing the other technicians are well trained.
